The Saskatoon Police Service says a 26-year-old man from Saskatoon has been arrested and charged with armed robbery after a suspect allegedly threatened store staff with needles.
The call came in at 9:50 a.m. on Monday from a store in the 100 block of Confederation Drive. Staff reported that a man threatened them with needles while stealing items then fled the store on foot.
A suspect was arrested nearby, and no one was physically injured in the robbery.
