Prince Albert Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Jack Sanderson from Sturgeon Lake First Nation following a vehicle-pedestrian collision.
The collision occurred in Little Red River on December 10th, following an altercation between Sanderson and an adult woman. The woman was injured by the truck and Sanderson fled the scene. EMS and RCMP responded to the scene at around 8:30 p.m. and the woman was taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.
Sanderson is charged with one count of aggravated assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop after an accident. He is also charged with two counts of operation of a conveyance while prohibited.
He is described as a 5 foot 9, 172 pound man with short black hair, brown eyes and a geometric design tattoo on his right forearm and a barbed wire design on his left. He may be driving an older red Dodge pickup truck. His whereabouts are unknown.
