Three young suspects are facing a total of 39 charges following a Regina Police investigation.
On Wednesday at 10:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a firearm being discharged at a business in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. The caller reported seeing several individuals flee the area following the incident.
Officers located the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Garnet Street. All three occupants were taken into custody without incident.
Now, a 15-year-old male youth, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act is facing 15 charges. A 16-year-old female youth is facing six charges, and a 16-year-old male youth is facing 18 charges.
The youths made their first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court Monday morning.
