Hi-Ho-Let’s Go! Everyone at S-M-G sends congratulations to our very own Les Lazaruk, who has been the voice of the Saskatoon Blades since 1994, will be the recipient of this year’s Bob Ridley Golden Microphone Honourarium at the Western Canada Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation Wall of Honour event this summer. The award, named after longtime Medicine Hat Tigers play-by-play voice Bob Ridley, recognizes a member of the print or broadcast profession for their service at the major junior level and includes an honourarium to be donated to the individual or charity of their choosing.
