A 27-year-old woman has been charged by Saskatoon Police Service following a domestic assault in an apartment suite in the Massey Place neighbourhood.

Police responded to the the 10 block of Maxwell Crescent. shortly after 9:30 am Thursday after it was reported that a woman was armed with knives and a blowtorch, and was threatening another occupant of the suite before fleeing out of a window.

A suspect was located by police in the 1000 block of Matheson Drive, where she was taken into custody after a conducted energy weapon was deployed. The woman has been charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death.
