Winter comes alive as Nutrien Wintershines returns February 14 to 21. Shad Ali of On-Purpose Leadership says the festival is about embracing life in a winter city and bringing the community together at Market Square and Gather Local Market. This year’s “Footprints and Stories” theme features ice carvings inspired by water, land and sky, including fish, a buffalo, a dream catcher and more.

Events run all week with indoor and outdoor activities from shinny, schlockey, an outdoor ball hockey tournament, to wagon rides and arts programming. The Soup Cook-Off returns with top local chefs competing at Gather Local Market and TCU Place, with limited tickets remaining for select dates.
