The 25-year-old Yorkton product was named the Canada West Conference’s W-H-L Grad-of-the-Month for February and March today. The Saskatoon Blades’ alumnus led the Saskatchewan Huskies to a 6-0 playoff run with a 1.13 goals against average and a .962 save percentage and was named Championship M-V-P. Maier and the Dogs are in Halifax, getting ready for Thursday’s start of the University Cup. The top seeded Saskatchewan squad takes on host St. Mary’s in the second and final game of the day.
