Two people were arrested on drug charges following a call regarding a “suspicious vehicle” Wednesday night.
Around 10pm, police were informed that an occupied parked vehicle on the 200 block of 105th Street East had not moved for an hour.
Officers checked things out and found the driver was in breach of court-imposed conditions. Police searched the vehicle and seized $1,990 in cash, plus various amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and a variety of pills including gabapentin. There were also three knives.
A 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were taken into custody and are facing a variety of drug and weapon charges as well as possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
