Big day for Owen Riegling as his new record “In The Feeling” is out today! Owen joined me on the show today to talk about what that title really means to him, how “the feeling” always comes back to home, and what it’s been like trying to carry that with him while spending the last couple years on the road. This one’s a little different too, it’s his first true concept album built as a snapshot of life, growth, and figuring things out in real time.
We also get into tracks like “Love Hate Love” and “Anything But Me,” and how those songs came together through real-life moments and Nashville writing sessions. On top of the new music, it’s a massive stretch for him right now with a sold-out Massey Hall show and his upcoming Grand Ole Opry debut, after getting the call from Tyler Hubbard with the invite. Things are moving fast for Owen, and we were lucky to chat with him in the midst of it all.
