A police service dog in Prince Albert saved the day after a man was seen breaking into an apartment complex on security footage.
Early this morning, police received a call from a security company which stated that a man had entered an apartment complex under construction on the 1700 block of Neville Drive.
Upon arrival, officers say the man did not comply with police demands, hopped the fence and fled through a nearby parking lot.
A service dog was deployed- biting the suspect and helping bring him into custody.
Now, 22-year-old Austin Garraway is heading to Regina Provincial Court on June 2.
