There was a garage fire in the 200 block of Avenue M North on Friday night.

The call came in at 7:47 p.m. and when crews arrived they could see smoke coming from a detached garage.

A search confirmed no one was in the garage and no one was injured.

A fire investigator will determine the cause, origin and a damage estimate.
