The 2026 I-I-H-F World Men’s Under-18 Hockey Championship continues today and runs through Saturday, May 2nd in Bratislava and Trencin, Slovakia. The 10 competing nations are split into two pools of five teams each for round-robin play, followed by playoffs. Canada is in Pool A. Canada has 3 wins, 1 loss for 9 points…tied for 1st place in Group A. Among the players on the Canadian team are Saskatoon product and Red Deer Rebels’ forward Beckett Hamilton along with Saskatoon Blades’ right winger Zach Olsen. Their next game will be Wednesday in the quarter-final round against an undetermined opponent and an, as yet, unknown time.
