Jane’s Walk Saskatoon is back this weekend, and organizer Alan Wallace says it’s all about getting people out exploring their city in a totally different way.
It’s a series of free, volunteer-led walking conversations happening every year around Canadian urbanist Jane Jacobs’ birthday, designed to help you connect with your neighbourhood, meet new people, and uncover parts of Saskatoon you probably didn’t even know existed. There are more than 20 walks this year covering everything from local history and redevelopment projects to natural areas and even a ghost walk, and it keeps growing with over 1,000 people showing up last year alone.
No sign-up needed either, just pick a walk, show up, and go, with full details at the website.
