Two different stabbing incidents resulted in two male victims taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries over the weekend in Saskatoon.
One of the victims was a 33-year-old man from a stabbing that was attended to by Saskatoon Police Service (S-P-S) officers at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 1000 block of Matheson Drive. In the same S-P-S news release, the second stabbing incident happened at about 12:40 a.m. on Sunday in the 800 block of Confederation Drive. Responding officers found a 31-year-old man whose non-life-threatening injuries were determined to be serious after police learned he was reportedly assaulted by multiple people – one of whom had a machete.
