The shooting resulted in 2 men receiving non-life threatening gunshot injuries. During the investigation, police learned that the incident was targeted and gang related.
The RCMP have manged to locate the firearm that is believed to have been used in the shooting, and have identified a suspect. The RCMP have also obtained a warrant for 30 year old Robert Lee Plourde’s arrest.
Plourde, a resident of Turtleford, SK, has been charged with discharge firearm with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and 3 counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.
Plourde is described as:
– Medium complexion
– 5 feet, 10 inches
– 264 pounds
– Has tear drop tattoo near his left eye
