Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 2268 membership held a ratification vote between June 11-13.

The three-year agreement with Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools includes:

-an 8 per cent wage increase over three years

-increase to benefits

-increase to casual employee pay

-stronger health and safety language, including new provisions addressing violence in the workplace and interpersonal violence.

CUPE 2268 represents over 1,200 education support workers in the Saskatoon Catholic Schools.
