Shellbrook RCMP are asking for help from the public with identifying a suspect and locating a stolen vehicle following a robbery last Friday near Holbein.

A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says the Shellbrook detachment received a report of an armed robbery at about 1:05 p.m. on July 3. Responding officers were able to determine that an adult male with a weapon threatened an adult female and stole her vehicle while she was parked on the side of highway #693, just north of Holbein. No physical injuries were reported to police and the suspect fled north on Highway #693 in the stolen vehicle, described as being a grey 2011 Kia Sorrento SUV with Saskatchewan license plate 491 PCN. The suspect is described as a bald male, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The RCMP had no other details and are continuing to investigate. To this point, both the suspect and SUV have not been located.
