The Saskatoon Police Service’s (S-P-S) Serious Assault Unit (S-A-U) is investigating a stabbing incident from the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to an S-P-S news release, officers responded to a call in the 1700 block of 20th Street West at about 1:25 a.m. on July 4. Dispatch reported an injured person, adding that further information said a person had been stabbed and showed up at hospital. When police arrived at St. Paul’s Hospital, they found a 32-year-old man receiving treatment for injuries consistent with a stabbing. The S-A-U asks anyone with information about the incident to contact S-P-S at 306-975-8300 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
