A discharged firearm has led to the arrest of three male teenagers from Île-à-la-Crosse.
On Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP received a report of a firearm discharge in a treed area near Amisk Crescent. It was reported that three males were seen exiting the treed area shortly after the incident.
Officers say the boys were found on Lajeunesse Avenue and arrested, during which police seized two sawed-off firearms and bear spray.
The three teens, who are all from Île-à-la-Crosse, each face ten charges.
Two of the teens were additionally charged with one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and the third teen was additionally charged with five counts, weapons possession contrary to order and one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized.
They are scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Monday.
