A 33-year-old man from the Sweetgrass First Nation was arrested on outstanding warrants on Tuesday afternoon, but it was not an easy process.

Saskatchewan Marshals Service went to a residence following a report the person was inside. However, he climbed through a window and fled into a wooded area.

Additional resources including tracking dogs and a drone were brought in. Just under two hours later, the man was arrested while attempting to climb a tree.

Battlefords RCMP and Sweetgrass First National Security officers also provided assistance
