Leader RCMP are trying to find the owner of a boat and trailer found near Shackleton.

On Thursday, Leader RCMP found and seized a boat on the side of Highway #32. An investigation has led police to believe that the boat may have been stolen. RCMP are now trying to find the owner.

The boat is described as a fibreglass runabout boat on a red single-axle trailer. The boat is white and light blue with a Mariner 80 h.p. outboard motor.

Anyone with information regarding the owner of the boat or trailer, or anyone who has had a boat or trailer stolen that matches the description, is asked to contact Leader RCMP.

Leader RCMP are also asking for any dash cam or surveillance footage that may have captured the boat in the Shackleton area on Thursday. Information about the boat or it’s owner should be reported to police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
