A second person has been charged in connection with a double homicide early Tuesday morning in Regina.

Regina Police says 42 year old Rose Sparvier has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the deaths of a 42-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man. Their bodies were found outside a home in the 1100 block of Elphinstone Street around 4:35am Tuesday. Both victims had been shot. Nineteen-year-old Patricia Stevenson is also charged with second degree murder and made her first court appearance on Wednesday morning.

Regina Police says at the request of their families, the names of the victims are not being released.
