The Prince Albert Police Service is asking the public for information in connection to a serious assault investigation involving multiple individuals.

Around 9:37 p.m. on Tuesday officers responded to the unit block of River Street West after receiving a report of an assault involving multiple males. However, the individuals involved fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police say two men were assaulted by a group of males. One of the victims is believed to have sustained serious injuries.

Following the assault, the two men left the area in a grey Ford F-150 pickup truck towing a boat covered by a tarp. Police are also asking anyone with dashcam, cellphone or other video footage from the area around the time of the incident to contact investigators.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or has information that may assist with identifying those involved are asked to contact the Prince Albert Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
