Wednesday morning’s reveal of the All-C-F-L all-star team by the league illustrates the key match-up in Saturday’s West Division final at Mosaic Stadium.
Quarterback Nathan Rourke, receivers Keon Hatcher and Justin McInnis plus offensive lineman Jarell Broxton are on the dream squad from the B-C Lions while five members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ defence were selected – tackle Micah Johnson, middle linebacker Jameer Thurman, cover linebacker C-J Reavis, cornerback Tevaughan Campbell and halfback Rolan Milligan Junior. Four more members of the Green and White were chosen on offence – receiver KeeSean Johnson plus O-linemen Logan Ferland, Jacob Brammer and Jermarcus Hardrick. The nine all-C-F-Lers from the Riders is the most in any year in franchise history, the most of any team in the C-F-L. Only receiver Dohnte Meyers didn’t move up to All-C-F-L status after being voted to the West Division all-star squad. The 2025 All-C-F-L team was voted upon by 45 national and local members of the Football Reporters of Canada, the league’s nine head coaches and fans. The Roughriders had the most selections with nine, followed by Hamilton and B-C with five each, Calgary with three, Montreal and Winnipeg with two each, Toronto with one while Edmonton and Ottawa didn’t register any selections.
