Leader RCMP say they continue to look for suspects in an SUV believed connect to a suspicious business fire.

As part of the investigation, officers have collected and analyzed evidence, including video footage showing a suspect arriving at the business, breaking in, and leaving in a dark-coloured SUV. Police say the vehicle strongly resembles a Jeep but may be another SUV with a similar appearance.

Leader RCMP are now asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect and SUV captured in the video. A photo of the SUV is in our online story.

The call came in at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Oct. 26, 2025, reporting a structure fire at the Halftime Huddle, located on 1 Avenue near Highway 21. Firefighters from the Leader Volunteer Fire Department responded, but the building was quickly engulfed in flames. Surrounding structures were saved but the business where the fire originated is a total loss. No one was hurt in the fire.
