Corman Park has a new Chief of Police and Rob Duttchen starts work today but will have a formal swearing in next Monday.
Chief Duttchen spent 13 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and then joined the Winnipeg Police Service in 2000. His experience includes General Patrol, Street Crime, National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, and numerous supervisory roles. Most recently, he served as Deputy Commander of Division 13 North District General Patrol.
In a news Release from the Corman Park Board of Police Commissioners, the commission says it was “impressed with Chief Duttchen’s forward-thinking leadership style, his commitment to proactive policing, and his focus on strong community relationships.”
