Fresh off a breakout year, Saskatchewan’s own Jake Vaadeland arrives riding some major momentum.
In addition to winning a JUNO Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year, Jake dominated this year’s Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, taking home Male Artist of the Year, Fans’ Choice Entertainer of the Year, Alternative Country Album of the Year for Retro Man…More and More, along with National/International Artist honours & Record Producer of the Year for Jake and his bandmate Joel Rohs.
Now, Jake brings that success home with his Goodness Gracious, It’s Christmas! tour stopping in at TCU Place in Saskatoon this Saturday, December 13th. Bringing a festive high energy mix of holiday classics, originals, and the vintage country and rockabilly sound that’s quickly making him one of Saskatchewan’s standout success stories.
Jake took some time to call in to the show and chat about his past year, and what new & returning fans can expect at the upcoming show.
