A tenth suspect has been charged by Saskatoon Major Crime Investigators in connection to a homicide last year that claimed the life of 30 year old Tim Tootoosis.
A 26 year-old woman was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder, Offering an Indignity to Human Remains, and Unlawful Confinement.
The body of Tootoosis was found last year on December 18th in a home in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West.
Nine others have been charged in the case, including 43-year-old Destini Gardypie 38-year-old Rodrick Pierre Rabbitskin, 22-year-old Emmery Aubichon, 45-year-old Vernon Peequaquat, 40-year-old Michael Landry, 27-year-old Michael McCallum, 41-year-old Donavan Lemstra, and a 26-year-old woman who are charged with first degree murder and unlawful confinement. 34-year-old Nakita Tootoosis was originally charged with manslaughter but the charge has been upgraded to first degree murder.
