Saskatchewan RCMP has charged two men after seizing cocaine and weapons in Lloydminster.
As part of an ongoing investigation, on Monday, RCMP executed a search warrant at a business and an apartment in Lloydminster.
Officers located and seized approximately 20 grams of cocaine, a sum of cash, three firearms, ammunition, a conducted energy device, a baton and IDs that did not belong to the occupants of the apartment/business.
Two men were arrested in Kitscoty, Alberta. RCMP also allege the two were providing security services under the company name ‘Tribal Land Division Incorporated’ and/or ‘Tribal Land Enforcement Division’ without a license.
Twenty-five-year-old Carlietto Santoro and 30-year-old Darwin Fernandez Quispe, both from Edmonton, are each facing more than a half dozen charges which includes weapons and drug offences as well as acting as a security guard without a license and Santoro is facing the additional charge of providing security guard service without a license.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Onion Lake RCMP, Lloydminster Crime Reduction Team, North Battleford Crime Reduction Team, Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team and Battlefords Provincial General Investigation Section assisted in this ongoing investigation.
