Regina Police responded to a hit and run Friday afternoon when a 93 year old woman was struck and the vehicle reportedly failed to stop.
Witnesses were able to describe the vehicle as a small burgundy hatchback and the suspect as a young blonde woman with black sunglasses. After a short search Regina police were able to identify the vehicle and suspect and are continuing their investigation. The 93 year old victim was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The incident occurred at the intersection of College Ave and Elphinstone Street at approximately 4:30 p.m on Friday February 28th.
