On Sunday Prince Albert RCMP responded to a shooting in Little Red River.
Police say a black SUV approached a man who was standing outside in the community and one of the occupants of the vehicle shot him.
He was taken to hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle was spotted outside a home in Little Red River. Officers with assistance from the Saskatchewan RCMP Critical Incident Response Team set up a perimeter and convinced two people inside to exit.
They were arrested and 34-year-old Jared Naytowhow and 33-year-old Jackie Morin, both from Little Red River are charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized. Naytowhow is also facing seven additional weapons related charges.
