An Angus Reid survey, released Thursday, suggests serious division between those who align with the MAGA movement in the Republican Party and those who do not.

Republicans of every stripe approve of reducing illegal immigration at the southern border, removing Nicolas Maduro as President of Venezuela, and ICE enforcement actions.

But the Institute says, “two core, foundational issues are frustrating non-MAGA Republicans: health care and the cost of living.”

Overall, according to the Angus Reid Institute, their poll shows at 56 per cent, a majority saying they disapprove of Trump’s performance over the past 365 days, while fewer than two-in-five, or 37 per cent, say they approve so far.

If you break it out by political persuasion, 93 per cent of MAGA Republicans approve of Trump’s performance after one year in office, that drops to 69 per cent approval among non MAGA Republicans.  Only 6 per cent of Democrats approve and Independents/Other sit at 18 per cent.

The most criticized issues are discussions of annexing Greenland, handling of the cost of living, handling of health care, and the Epstein files.
