The public is being asked by the Wollaston Lake R-C-M-P for any help with locating Mason Joseyounen, believed to be involved in a shooting incident on Sunday on the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation.
A news release from the Saskatchewan RCMP says the Wollaston Lake detachment received a report at about 1 a.m. on February 1 regarding a firearm being discharged at a residence on the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation. Attending officers were able to determine a male threatened an individual and later discharged a firearm at a house, striking it in the process. No injuries were reported. As a result, 27-year-old Jason Joseyounen from Hatchet Lake First Nation faces six separate charges with a warrant issued for his arrest. He is also wanted by Wollaston Lake R-C-M-P on an incident from January 30th. He is described as being about 6’2″ tall and weighing 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. If anyone in the public sees Mason Joseyounen, you are warned not to approach him, but report any sightings to 310-RCMP or by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers anonymously.
