Regina Police say 27 year old Matthew J. Drummond of Regina has been charged with two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to animals. At 6 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in a vehicle. They found the suspect vehicle and spotted an injured cat in the vehicle. A second cat was found in the area, dead. Animal control took the cats and the suspect was arrested.
