Prince Albert Police have arrested a man and woman following a stolen vehicle and robbery investigation on Thursday.
At 1:40 p.m., police were called to the 2600 block of 2nd Avenue West for a report of a vehicle that had been stolen at gunpoint.
Officers say they learned that four people were taking a ride share when one of them brought out a firearm and told the driver to get out of the vehicle. Police say they tracked the vehicle as it drove through the city before it was disabled on Kemp Crescent.
Police say that one of the suspects was found in the unit block of Bowerman Crescent where he was arrested. A man and a woman were found at the Kemp Crescent location and arrested, as well.
Now, a 26-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and robbery with violence. Both are scheduled to appear in court today.
