Saskatchewan RCMP has confirmed that the possible hazardous beverage circulating in North Battleford has no connection with commercially available beverages.
On Wednesday, Battlefords RCMP received a report of a potentially hazardous, consumable liquid. The detachment is investigating multiple sudden deaths reported in the area in the past week in connection to the liquid, as well.
In its update, the RCMP say no further reports of sudden deaths or illness potentially related to a liquid have been made to police at this time. Currently, there is no indication of an increased risk to the public, though Battlefords RCMP advise people not to consume any unknown beverages or liquid substances.
