Saskatoon Police allege a 31 year old man threatened to kill two police officers Tuesday afternoon. Just after four o’clock, the Guns and Gangs Unit was in the alley on the 300 block of Avenue Q North when they were approached by two known gang members. One of them is alleged to have aggressively confronted the officers, making threats against them. Police say he claimed to have a firearm in his backpack. As the men walked away, one was seen reaching into his backpack and taking a shooter stance between parked cars. Another member of the Guns and Gangs Unit responded and took the man into custody. He didn’t have a weapon. He is facing two charges of Uttering Threats.
