Saskatoon’s 6th Annual Vimy Dinner returns April 11 to the Sgt. Hugh Cairns V.C. Armoury.
This dinner brings a powerful mix of military tradition, community support, and fundraising for local members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Honorary Colonel Kurtis Kimpton joined us to share how the event continues to grow. He highlights how this dinner shines a light on the soldiers living and serving right here in the city while raising critical support for their well-being, especially mental health.
Held on the parade square at the Hugh Cairns Armoury, this is formal black-tie evening featuring a rare behind-the-scenes look at military traditions, live music from the Air Force band, and a keynote from General Rick Hillier. Those attending can expect a unique, immersive experience while directly supporting soldiers in active duty. Tables and sponsorships are available now through the event’s Facebook page or by emailing SaskatoonVimyDinner@gmail.com.
