Corman Park Police officers arrested a driver after they observed their turn signal was left on for approximately 1-2 kilometres of driving a vehicle with expired registration.
A CPPS Facebook post says during the stop, the driver showed signs of drug impairment and subsequently tested positive for cocaine. A quantity of white powder was found inside the vehicle and a confirmed that it was, in fact, cocaine.
The driver, who was already suspended from driving, also had an outstanding warrant for driving while suspended, had never held a valid driver’s licence. Officers also issued the driver tickets for driving while disqualified and operating an unregistered vehicle.
