One man has been arrested following a report of possible forcible confinement in the Fort Qu’Appelle area Wednesday.
RCMP say shortly after 1:00 p.m., Broadview RCMP received a report of a person possibly forcibly confined in a blue SUV that left a business in the Grenfell area. The vehicle was found in both Indian Head and Fort Qu’Appelle detachment areas driving at a high rate of speed. The SUV then stopped north of Fort Qu’Appelle and a man and a woman were arrested.
Now, the man, 44-year-old James Delorme, is facing seven charges, including forcible confinement. He appeared in court today, and the female passenger has since been released.
Broadview RCMP continue to investigate.
