Sunday there is a rally for Earth Action Day.
Organized by Climate Justice Saskatoon in anews release they say the event is designed to bring together community members calling for action “to support environmental stewardship and end our dependence on fossil fuels, which worsen the climate crisis.”
Speakers include the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) who will discuss the health harms linked to the current coal power extension; the Saskatchewan Environmental Society addressing the coal case; and the Swale Watchers who will speak to local environmental stewardship.
The rally is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Vimy Memorial Bandstand.
