There’s a powerful exhibit coming to the Frances Morrison Central Library called Here to Tell: Faces of Holocaust Survivors, running April 30 to June 2.
Rabbi Claudio says it’s all about putting real human faces to history, with around 20 portraits of survivors connected to Saskatchewan and Alberta, some still living, some not, sharing stories of survival, resilience, and rebuilding life in Canada after the Holocaust. It’s part of a larger Canada-wide project, and with fewer survivors still alive, there’s real urgency to preserve these stories.
It’s free to check out anytime the library’s open, and schools can still try to book tours, but those are filling up fast.
