The Aberdeen Small and Exotic Animal Sale is going down at the Aberdeen Equestrian Centre this Saturday! Starts early with a pancake breakfast at 8:30, then the market kicks in at 10am with animals, vendors, games, raffles and more.
Alex Kaziuk is a Youth Member President with 4-H Canada, and she took some time to chat about this weekend’s activities. Alex says the best part is being around all the animals, and it’s also a great way to see what 4-H is all about. It offers kids the opportunity to build leadership, make friends, and give kids real opportunities to learn agricultural skills.
Expect tons of demos through the day too like drone, equine therapy, and veterinary presentations as well. It’s a day of fun, education, and supporting your local 4-H.
