The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Prince Albert man with child exploitation related offences.
On Tuesday, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a Search Warrant at a home in Prince Albert. Electronic devices were examined at scene and seized by investigators.
The investigation led to the arrest of 36-year-old Matthew Olaf Philip Olson of Prince Albert.
He is charged with two counts of Possessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
Olson appeared in court Tuesday and was released with court-imposed conditions.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.
