On Wednesday around 4:25 p.m. Regina Police received a report of a threat involving Michael A. Riffel Catholic High School on Rochdale Boulevard in the Queen City.
Police were told a student had made comments about bringing a firearm to school.
Officers were able to identify and locate the suspect and the youth was arrested without incident.
A 16 year old male has been charged with uttering threats and is in court this morning. He cannot be named in keeping with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
As well a 38-year-old male has been charged with Careless Storage of Firearm. He also can’t be named because it would identify the youth who is charged.
