Saskatoon Police say a 39-year-old man was bear sprayed and stabbed Thursday night in the 900 block of Avenue I South.
At 10:55 p.m., officers were called to the area, but the suspects had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
On scene, they found the victim suffering from serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds, as well as the effects of bear spray. He was taken to Royal University Hospital for further medical care.
The victim says all three suspects were male. Police say, “The first suspect is described as a male and was wearing dark pants, a light blue hoodie under a dark jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, dark shoes, and was carrying a backpack with a light up speaker. The second suspect was also male and was wearing a light hat, black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, a black backpack, black track pants with two white stripes at the shin, and dark high-top shoes with white accents. The third suspect is described as male and was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.”
The Serious Assault Unit continues to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
