The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency says as of 11 a.m. Saturday, the Lobstick fire was now considered contained while the Cayford fire is not. There is a new fire that has achieved the not contained designation and that is the Duck fire north of Lac La Ronge near Missinipe.
There are currently seven wildfires burning in Saskatchewan and there have been 101 to date. Last year at this time there had already been 245 wildfires and 176 is the five-year average.
