On May 14, the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a Search Warrant at a home in Regina, where electronic devices were examined at the scene and seized by investigators.
The investigation lead to the arrest of 36-year-old Donavon Blacksioux.
Yesterday he was charged with Possessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material and Making Available Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.
Blacksioux appeared in court today and has been remanded until his next court date on June 17 in Regina Provincial Court.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.
