The Saskatoon Police Service says a 14 year old male from Saskatoon is facing charges after a bear spray incident at an apartment.
Around 2:40 a.m. Thursday police responded to a home in the 100 block of Avenue P South where two male youths kicked down the door of a suite in an apartment building. They then deployed bear spray and set off a fire extinguisher before fleeing when officers arrived.
One suspect was taken into custody and the 14-year-old is charged with break and enter as well as two counts each of assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
Two people, age 34 years old, suffered the effects of bear spray.
