Battlefords RCMP teamed up with Saskatoon Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team for a four-day campaign, resulting in several arrests in relation to serious charges.
Between June 1 and June 4, officers arrested four people, including one teenage male and three females. These include 30-year-old Charnelle Swiftwolfe from Moosomin First Nation. He was arrested on three outstanding warrants including forcible confinement, aggravated assault, and uttering threats. Also, 24-year-old Kathie Swiftwolfe from Moosomin First Nation was arrested in connection to both robbery and assault with a weapon charges.
A 21-year-old female from Battleford was arrested on a warrant for charges including forcible confinement and assault with a weapon. These charges include those laid in relation to an April 2023 assault investigation. And lastly, a teen boy from Moosomin First Nation was arrested on five outstanding warrants such as using an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and failing to comply with court ordered conditions charges.
